VR Therapy for children

Medi Kidz VR ARCADE is a virtual arcade for children. I made this for children with severe needlephobia. Nowadays they get therapy sessions with medication to keep them calm. With this project a took a different approach on sedation for children, because this project is made as digital sedative.

I used Unity3D as game engine, because I made a couple of small games with it already. Now I just wanted to engage on a new adventure, to be specific a VR adventure. VR development was new for me but I managed by investing a lot of time in watching tutorials and trying stuff out. One of the biggest challenges was to make a VR Game where children would be able to play with just one hand while sitting down. To simulate this I only tested this game while sitting down to make sure I would actually work and everything was on the perfect height level.
